I think it’s an issue with their servers, it won’t work until they fix it unfortunately. And they seem to really not give a crap at the moment.

Yep, still waiting and I kind of detest the fact someone earlier posted about how it may or may not be fixed next week, like what the hell? A chunk of the playerbase legit cannot play without going to a brand-new account until its fixed.

Still having this issue… sigh. I know you guys are busy, but I feel like should be a relatively short fix to reset/flush the profile’s queueing flags or game-state markers.

Playing on a different account knowing no progress is saved would be too demoralizing for me. Here’s hoping the fix is implemented some time soon so I don’t feel like I handed out money for nothing.

its just unfortunate because its the weekend and im sure some if not most of us cant play much or at all during the week. so we have missed out on playing and leveling up with friends, which matters if there is no wipe before launch.
Edit: maybe it is something the devs are still trying to figure out/ is a problem that requires more time. my main problem is the vast majority of us got this issue right after the hot fix was dropped. why would you drop a update that will cause problems to pop up right before the weekend when your dev team will be a skeleton crew.

I still have the same issue. Does not matter how long I wait. I hope we can get an update soon. We all paid to play the game early. I’m not upset about bugs in-game. I am upset that I can’t even play the game I paid for.

I will take anything just to play the game on my main account at this point. I won’t pretend to know what the issue exactly is, but even if it involves wiping my progress and starting over, ill take it at this point.
Just been feeling serious FOMO from not being able to link up with my friends. Thanks to whoever is spending their weekend working on this. Know that its appreciated if they ever read this.

the FOMO is real, all my friends have cool high level gear and cosmetics on there characters while i will still look like a prisoner

Can we not at least get a workaround until this is resolved? I paid 40 dollars for this game and you cannot seriously call something a “beta” two weeks before the game drops. Its obvious the majority of the issues here weren’t going to be resolved by the time the game goes full release. I’m tired of live-service game devs using paying customers for last second QA. I cannot remember the last time I played an always online game that just worked when it released.

The issue looks to be tied to your specific steam account. You can turn on Family Sharing in your steam account settings, make a new steam account, and as long its on the same device, play Darktide without having to buy it again. Obviously not ideal for maintaining your progress but youll atleast be able to play…
