So I was wrong initially, there’s a request to bsp-auth-prod.atoma.cloud after hitting the space key once you’re past the opening cinematic. The response data is what’s telling the client what queue position you’re in. For unaffected clients, they’re told position 0 (per console logs). For ours, it’s set to 1 permanently for some reason. Can’t actually see the request/response data, might be cert pinning.
Edit: Definitely looks that way. Investigation stops there, bypassing it would be a bannable offense.
I refunded; I’ll buy it again if they fix this before launch. it’s quite ridiculous they can’t fix this over the course of 3 days. It screams of “I don’t care”. No update, nothing. Fantastic customer service guys.
The only reason I disagree with you, is because its the weekend. They are working hard to fix it but they also need a break man. It sucks that we can’t play it really does but them not updating over the weekend shouldn’t “scream I don’t care” it says hey its the weekend our only time off.
Remember this is what the beta is for to get the information and fix it so when it officially launches we don’t have this issue. ITS ALSO THE WEEKEND, if this issue happened monday then sure I agree, but they are probably busting their butts off fixing everything
Yeah, I can agree with that too. It just bugs me when people over react and start doom preaching during a time that is meant to gather information and fix the game. Fat shark has good track record with sticking with their games and making it the best they can.
Oh no, I’m tracking all that. Not saying jump ship either. But a simple statement would do wonders to alleviate the frustration. I understand it’s a beta but ignoring your players is not a good look. Devs are people too and they work hard, but I spent my hard-earned money on this too. Only to be completely ignored for days.
I get that, but if its the weekend (which I get is the only time most of us can play) I feel like some leeway can be givin here. If they went a whole week without saying anything then I would be pissed but a weekend I think is understandable. Plus its not like we are dealing with EA or Blizzard
Fair points. Maybe this isn’t affecting enough people, idk. it’s just frustrating and annoying to see everyone else havin a blast while we can’t even get firsthand info.
I’ll definitely be repurchasing the game, as think this game will be fantastic after a little polish. Im just gonna wait till launch to pick it up again
Still in queue position 1 after ~72 hours, can’t login.
The authentication server bsp-auth-prod.atoma.cloud is telling the game client we’re in queue position 1 when it should be saying we’re in queue position 0. @anyone from FS
I’ve also decide to post on their Announcement > 1.0.6 Hotfix . Fatshark Aqshy seems to be checking on there for issues that happened after the hotfix on Saturday.
It may get more awareness than here since there has been no further updates on this thread from them.
