A week since full release, and still unable to play a whole mission due to error 2001.
Any news on this issue devs ?
Followed all the steps I could find(on my previous remedy that helped me played after the release date) to make my game work, I can only use the lobby and once I picked a mission and it loads up. I get disconnected immediately after the loading screen. This happened since yesterday when I updated to the latest Nvidia Update Ver 527.56 which was released last 12/08/2022

is there even a update or solution to this yet? i haven’t been able to play for over a week now getting this error 2001… and now its starting to restart my whole pc like gawd damn man lol like should i just ask for a refund? i just want to play the game man
Just gonna add to this, I’ve been having this error since beta, and reported it back then. Since then, I’ve installed better hardware into my PC. I now should run this game entirely fine, except for the error 2001.
Something I’ve noticed is that the game seems to be running on my HDD instead of SSD, even though it’s actually installed on my SSD. My SSD is running on like 2% while I have Darktide running, while my HDD seems to be hitting 100% active time continually.
I’m going to try re-installing the game entirely and then installing it onto the C: drive, see if it hasn’t f-ed something up somewhere along the line
I’ve never once crashed in the lobby or ship. Only once I get to an actual level. Sometimes, reconnecting will let me play. Sometimes, it just won’t. Also, after every mission is completed I get another 2001 which crashes me out of the game. I really hope it’s fixed at some point because I’d love to actually play the game xD

Issue Description:
I’ve dc’d a few times today from error 2001, using the experimental build.
Steps to Reproduce:
Playing from Australia with group leader in USA
While playing, enemies will sometimes start running in place, group will confirm that I’m attacking nothing, and within 15 seconds of this occurring I DC with 2001.

As of version 1.0.20, this problem is still present. The game disconnects in the main hub.

I was having this issue and fixed it by disabling IPv6 :
- Use the shortcut, Windows Key + X to open the Control Panel.
- Open Network and Internet.
- Open Network and Sharing Center.
- Click Change Adapter Settings.
- Right-click your connection and go to Properties.
- Uncheck the box next to Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) to disable it. (Be sure that IPv4 is checked tho)
- Restart
still having issue of 2001 every 5 seconds. got through intro and haven’t been able to play it at all. happens every day and every 5 secs it is a 100% dc rate. I give it 3 mores days and then will have to refund because game cannot be played at the moment.’
update 12/19/22 still crashing 5 seconds into game error code 2001 added new log
- load into main area game. then 5 seconds without fail will crash with 2001

I’ve still never completed a round without disconnecting. Even got a new GPU installed for the game, still error 2001. Here’s a few more logs.

Close to a Christmas miracle, but after more network resets, was able to complete several rounds with no issues! Hopefully this continues to work.
No changes to any settings, just full reboot of all network equipment. Had previously done this to no effect, but somehow it worked this time around!
Im getting so many 2001, 2004 and 9999 disconnect errors I was thinking it was my network. I’m relieved to see theres users here with same issue. I try to coop with my friend, he has basically a potato machine and can run the game fine without any disconnects. However me with my powerful rig cannot because of constant disconnect errors is driving me up the wall. Anyone have any luck? when will this garbage be fixed?

Been having these 2001 disconnect errors for 2 days now. I’ve got a level 30 and 26 character and this is the first time this has occurred. This is a common theme reading through this thread, you said that the issue was ‘being looked into’ over a month ago yet all that seems to have happened is you’ve renamed the issue so that it can be more clearly logged. How can something like this just randomly effect me out of the blue? No issues since pre-order beta then WHAM can’t even get 15 seconds into a game. Sort it out and please, contact me to let me know whats happening.
To have down time at this time of year when people are off work and have free time to play games might be unforeseeable, but it doesn’t make it any less annoying.
I am once again experiencing Error Code 2001. Unfortunately for me both instances have occurred during the end of my Heresy runs. Usually Ill reconnect and immediately get disconnected with no option to rejoin the game in progress. Sucks to forfeit all the mats I joined for.
Issue Description:
From around round 3 EST (evening to me) I literally can’t play the game because of the issue that is ERROR CODE - 2001. (It’s occurrance rate is around once per minute)
As I understand, this is happening to me because of poor connection, but it is wierd that it’s occurring only after 3 EST to 9 EST.

I was finishing level Power Matrix and by the end of the level game started not registering my actions (attacking, blocking, etc). After some time I got disconnected and because I’ve spent a lot of time trying to complete it, I tried reconnecting. Only ended up geting same error and disconnect again. It repeated for more than 10 times. I’ve managed to finish level by extracting and seeing cutscene but not sure if it counted or not as I got kicked mid cutscene.
I have power outages periodically which ruin long (40-50 minute) runs. Because of this error I’ve been unable to complete more than couple of missions in a week and wasted a lot of time 
Displayed 2001 error during end of the mission.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Play any map as anyone.
- Experience actions not registering.
- Disconnected due to 2001 error.
