Me and friend of mine have tried to get Veterans “Vantage point” and “Inquisitorial Veteran” penances done. But Espionage - type missions do not count as completed at all. We’ve tried 4-5 missions from start to finish without getting the penance.
Steps to Reproduce (Required):
- Choose Espionage -type mission. Uprising or higher.
- Complete the mission
- Friend of mine do not get the penance done after the missions.

same here! except for me its investigation and disruption both dont count. although i think it might actually just be all of them, cuz its not counting the other ones on the higher difficulties too.

On Zealot, mission completions are not counting towards the penance “Praise the God-Emperor! (3)”, as well as mission-type specific penance, such as "Seek, Locate, Destroy (5).
I have been able to get mission specific penances completed though under the “Endeavours” and “Exploration” tab.

Completed numerous assassination missions, as well as other types with neither penance increasing or completing.

I have an issue with mission type penances.
“As a [CLASS], complete at least 1 mission of each type”: Board says I should play disruption missions but I have tried many time, it does not progress.
“Complete X [TYPE] missions”: None of them seems to progress after playing a relevant mission.

- Play relevant mission type
- Check that penance did not progress

Hi Dev team.
I’m sorry to reach out about something so small but i’ve been trying for 2 days now to complete a single penance that wont track my progress.
i’ve searched for Dev posts and community posts for any type of trouble-shooting that would help but nothing has fixed it.
Vantage point 3 penance will not complete as it says i need to do another investigation mission on Heresy or higher. i have done this multiple times, i’ve checked other penances to make sure Endeavor penances are tracking mission difficulty completions, restarted game and done another Heresy investigation mission from start to finish but progress just wont track.
I just hope that there is someway to be able to fix this bug.

i know this is an old thread but it seems to be the place to reply.
This seems to still be an issue in the game as of the 27th of June 2024.
Vantage point 3 still cant be complete. the penance tracker says i need to complete 1 more investigation mission on heresy or higher which i have done countless times now.
@FatsharkQuickpaw could you please let me know what evidence you’d like me to send through as proof of completion?
This has happened to me 100% because I only need 3/4 and 0/1 for 2 penances so… I think this started around when the new patch was introduced. Now that I think about it, I haven’t gotten a penance in two days…

This needs to be adressed… None of my penances are being fullfilled. Especially those where you need to complete certain missions on different levels…

EDIT: I have just noticed that this started happening when the latest patch with the Mobian steel plant mission was introduced.

Was surprised I hadn’t completed this Penance yet with all other missions types but Investigation (4/5) completed on Damnation+
… saw my chance to do it today (pretty sure I had before) and upon successful completion (and unlocking other Penances related to Hab Dreyko Investigation confirming this), this specific penance for whatever reason still remains 4/5 for Investigation >.>

Hi,
Two of the quest counters are bugged on penances:
- On the Zealot, Praise the God-Emperor has all quests at 4/4, except 3/4 on Disruption quests. Doing more disruption quests on lvl 4 or 5 doesn’t unlock it, preventing me to progress further in my penances.
- On the Veteran, Vantage point has has all quests at 4/4, except 3/4 on Raid quests. Doing more raid quests on lvl 4 or 5 doesn’t unlock it, preventing me to progress further in my penances.
I tried verifying the files of the game and reinstalling it, no change.
I hope it can be fixed. Thanks a lot.

can confirm this is still happening to me too, even after hotfix, validating, and reinstalling. 99/100 sucks, done like 6 and nada. but the other pennances seem to be fine.
Can confirm this for my Omnissiah’s Hand penance as well, I’ve been stuck at 73/75 since the patch yesterday, even though I’ve played like 10 repair missions (including the new map which is a repair mission).
Edit: Just confirmed the same issue with the No Stone Unturned penance not tracking progress. I dunno if it’s for all mission-type penances because those are the only two left I haven’t earned.

Does it count when you do the original repair mission, Power Matrix? Smelter was recently reclassified as repair.
yes, i just ran smelter and it did not progress. going to try power matrix next
none of my repair missions are tracking towards my penance count, i’ve completed all of the maps and still 96/100
