The issue is worse than ever on 1.2.12. Usually 2-3 disconnects with error 2014 or 2001 every round. Happens in mourningstar too.
Just wanted to reply to this message with the ISP you were asking for a while ago since Iāve noticed that thereās a change in functionality with this new hotfix. I use Verizon 5G Wireless Home Internet, and I connect to the wifi router using a powerline adapter system.
Instead of loading into the cutscene and then crashing Iām now just simply crashing after five seconds of black screen. Hereās the log files you need.

So I reinstalled the game and it was working nearly without any problem.
Great? No.

Also do you guys have any server IP address we could try to trace or ping? I work in telecommunication and strongly suspect that the issue might be peering related with some international providers maybe, but canāt run any tests without the addresses. For me at the same time when this issue started I have noticed lag on other online games and even streaming services, however local internet performance (within country) is perfectly fine.

fatshark any chance you can update people more than āwow cool post with stuff in itā. game essentially does not function as this 2014 code happens every match. iāve even got a clean install on a brand new machine. as it stands thereās no point in me putting any time in it since i cant even finish a mission to make any sort of progress
Since Fatshark doesnāt respond, hereās something for others to try. For me I have noticed that my issues started after my ISP pushed a software update to my HGW/Modem they provide. The one thing that seems to have changed is that now it has IPv6 enabled besides IPv4, Iām currently trying to get it disabled with my ISP, if anyone else is willing you could try and ask your ISPs if you have IPv6 on and if yes ask them to disabled.
EDIT: My issue has been resolved. After some back and forth with my provider they pushed another SW upgrade to my modem and this fixed my issue. Unfortunately they are not willing to go into details but what the issue was however they left the IPv6 turned off as I requested. Also note that my issue wasnāt just with this game I had latency in Destiny 2, and I had issues with video calls like Fb messenger and WhatsApp, Teams. So my problem could have been quite different then others, but it was definitely network related on ISP side.

Issue Description:
packet loss lag (failing hitreg, sliding/teleporting enemies), disconnects with errors 2001, 3001, 2014.
issues started exactly after patch 1.2.12 which came out on the 20th november and iām uploading logs from that date. i have 12 of those, but i can only upload 5, the very first however is from 20th BEFORE the patch: to illustrate that everything was fine prior to 1.2.12.
the issue persists to this day and is present in every match.

This was fixed for me in 1.2.13 but now is back after the release of 1.2.20. Same symptoms. Game locks up for 5-10 seconds after which players/enemies are sliding around desynced then I get disconnected with error code 2014, 2004, or 2001.
Since about a week before the new update up till now, I couldnāt even start a game. Ill be at the character select menu, and have to click the start button multiple times and if I enter the MourningStar, I wouldnāt be able to move my character then I get kicked out due to āerror 2014ā
(Another error I got once today was Error 2001)
Other times when I click the start button multiple times, Ill get a ābackend errorā and when I go back to the character select menu it then says my steam is not connected to the internet so I have to quit the game. (When my PC and steam are still connected to the internet)
On the RARE occasion I do get into the mourningstar and able to move my character, there is input lag and rubberbanding on my character when I move; same thing when I actually manage to start to play on a map (the match is like 80% playable in terms of what im inputing control wise). And when I said rare earlier, I mean out of the whole day I was only able to play one map, after the mission is completed, my character will not be able to move and then Im back to the character select menu due to Error 2014, and then having to repeat the process all over again which has been really frustrating as I really want to play the game.
Another thing to add, sometimes The start button works and I get passed the character select menu but it will just be stuck on the loading screen and Ill just have to ALT F4
I do not get these problems with other games such as Vermintide 2

It keeps getting worse. Now it happens 4-5x a match. Sometimes it fails now with error code 3003 and says āyour match was ended by an unexpected errorā.
@FatsharkJulia could you please give us an update on this issue? Itās pretty game breaking about itās been over a month of radio silence.

So I found a solution that worked for me:
So upstairs I have a wifi extender router; I turned it off so my pc connected to the router downstairs, the game plays like normal with abit of lag. However I then connected my ethernet cable to the wifi extender and the game plays like normal again.
So the game doesnāt like that I use a wifi extender but doesnāt mind it if I connect my PC to it via an ethernet cable. I just find it strange that Darktide is the only game I have that needs to do this.

I donāt think thatās the source of the issue. Iām playing on a 100% wired connection with gigabit fiber. No wifi involved in my connection at all and speed.cloudflare.com reports very low latency, very low jitter, and zero packet loss at 900+ mbit/s.
