Out of nowhere right after a match I got this box at my top right that says
State: Untrusted
Violation Type: AUTH_ERROR
Cause: EOS auth status=failed, result=EOS_UnexpectedError
The 3 other people in my group also got the error and it’s not letting us get past the loading screen now.

Hello this is the second time I launch the game I wanted to play with a friend and in the middle of the mission I got a pop up saying I’m suspect.
I tried restarting the game and now I get this error everytime :

Same I was playing earlier and now every time I try to play I get the same error, I’ve validated files, repaired the EAC program and ran at as admin, it’s not blocked by firewall or antivirus nothing seems to return it to normal…

I go into the game and I get this error. This was an error before. vermintide 2 did not find vcruntime140.dll vcomp140.dll msvcp140.dll, I reinstalled Microsoft Visual C++ and was able to launch the game. Before that, I played without any problems. However, after reinstalling, I played two games and now I’m getting an EOS error.

SOLUTION:
My friend and I had the same problem.
In your PC, navigate to your Vermintide Folder \EasyAntiCheat\. In the EasyAntiCheat, there is a Certificates folder. Delete the folder (or just move it from there.)
Then Go into STEAM and Verify your files [Library, Right-click, Properties, Verify Game files] It will put new certificates into the folder. The game will work.
