Not sure if this has been suggested here yet, but in looking up the error that shows up in windows event viewer whenever darktide crashes, I stumbled upon a Reddit post that has seemingly solved the crashing without any of the multitude of fixes here.
In Nvidia control panel, under ‘Help’ at the top, toggle on debug mode. You may have to do this every boot, mine has stayed on. Haven’t had any crashing since doing this, DLSS on, RT off, no fps cap, max threads at 16.
Must add that i crashed earlier often when in game cpu temperature raised higher 70 degrees celcius. After changing thermo paste and removing dust fur from cpu cooler temperature in game became 60 degrees max and no crashes.
So once again install msi afterburner or similar monitoring software and look at your cpu temperatures.
me and a friend are playing Darktide since the Pre-Order-Beta, i never had days without crashes or DCs. Thats so frustrating. I can’t play one Map without at least one crash or DC. The Game feels like a early BETA…
It seems like Windows 11 is at least one of the reasons, because our friends with Windows 10 doesnt have crashes anymore.
In the logs i found many lines that looks like this:
[RenderInterface] user specified render setting: cached_local_lights_shadow_atlas_size doesn’t exist in render settings – skipping
Is that normal?

Issue Description:
Not sure if there is any relation, but ever since I installed Windows 11 2022 Update (version 22H2) the game crashes literally every round, multiple times. Before this update I had a relative stable experience.

Crashes happen literally every round.
I tried all the tricks in the book… Working threads to 1… Clean drivers installation, tried on Steam and Game Pass, 120fps locked, 60fps… I´m hopeless, I managed to finishing 1 or 2 game since the game launched… tried with every hotfix… 1.12 1.13 1.14, same error…
Have you actually found out what the cause of the crashing actually is or are you just hoping for the best?
Are we going to be compensated for all the crashing?
