If you’d like I can provide more logs from before this latest Nvidia GPU update, as my crash to desktops did happen before but settings and frequency were different.
Though I have tuned down my settings multiple times over the course of the beta, I only started consistently crashing every mission since the update to the build this past Friday (11-25-2022). Although complete application crashes did happen previously, they were once every ten or so mission, not every time.
My system is above even the recommended system-parts listed on the Steam store page, and other titles I play are completely fine at 1440p/144FPS, so I’m very puzzled as to what is going on here.
While I have these two options set, my game is stable enough to complete mission and effectively play the game normally, however there is an incredibly bizarre ‘after-image’ effect on objects beyond 10 or so meters from my character. I believe this has something to do with the FidelitySuperFX Super Resolution 2 option, as when I disabled it my game no-longer had this annoying effect, but then it crashed shortly after when I destroyed an explosive barrel.
I may reply to this post with updates as I change more settings, but over my own testing the past three days I’ve narrowed down these two options to have the most impact on game performance, and I would hope warrant some kind of look at.
If people would like to know what other settings I have I can provide that as well via imgur links in the event this may be a band-aid fix to their CTD problems.

Lots of.testing regarding over clocking and under clocking
I7 9700k gigabyte auros elite 3070ti
The only way to play the game without crashing for my current setup is to reduce cores used to 1. I have tried extensively over and under clocking and 1-6 cores used during Gameplay.
Performance is about half of what it should be running 1 core but at least it doesn’t crash.
Any solutions for this?

I have same cpu but a 2080…I was working with 5 cores and a base to about half my regular GPU overclock without crashing…now all of a sudden tonight I moved my PC back from my tv, installed the new nvidia drivers and I crash constantly again (ive reinstalled everything I can imagine, it just driver hangs or deadlocks PC).
used to perform good though, 80 average fps 1440p DLSS balanced. 4k 60 fps with ultra performance DLSS
My GPU crash issue has actually gotten worse since the Hotfix + NVidia driver updates.
Prior to that the game would crash to desktop and it would allow me to restart after giving the prompt for crash like normal. I tried all the provided troubleshooting steps but at best, I got through 1 whole mission without a crash only to crash multiple times on the very next mission.
Now after this most recent update, the entire computer crashes and restarts. I’ve been playing since pre-order beta but only have 11.5 hours in due to the amount of crashing and most of that is loading most of my friends have 40+ hours and level 30 characters at this point. I don’t even have a single character past level 7 yet because of how often this game crashes to desktop or now crashes the entire computer.
Edit: I’d give you logs, but with the entire computer crashing it didnt give me anything you haven’t already seen in prior posts.

lmao … I’m glad that it turns out I’m not the only one with such a problem, but what a shame it is. You simply cannot play with your friends while they are leveling up. I would endure the friezes, but crashes are ***. Of the 20 missions, there were 16 crashes.

Hmm psyker abilities may be the problem, I play psyker too. I’ll try to change the class, maybe it will help.

You’re not crashing at 1 core because you’re severely limiting GPU usage by creating a massive bottleneck with your CPU. It’s an artificial “fix”, which should not be required.
