nice, but id rather switch to linux and use proton before going to win11
Yes? Thatās part of how tech jobs work, speaking as someone in the industry. You canāt just⦠leave this level of ānon-operationalā going when it comes to a client base. Server stuff doesnāt wait for anyone, and this isnāt much different.
Perhaps Iām too jaded to think more charitably of them anymore after this travesty.
So in 11 it works without issue? I may try that later to see if thatās a replicable solution
update to let us know when you give up for the night and go home, so we are not refreshing this page in vain

Communication is critical when a clientās down
Unbelievable they are letting this go on this long. Stacked upon the baffling reality of having let it go through in the first place. How is their leadership not making sure these situations do not develop. How is their leadership not making sure their game is fully tested and ready to go during a promotional event, much less not so broken it cuts off a large amount of their already badly depleted playerbase?
And all during a Warhammer-wide promotional event for which their own promo video was their exec producer bragging about how far theyāve come in fixing the game. Quite honestly, he should be fired for letting this disaster develop first of all, and then continue in one situation after another.
These repeated and ongoing failures to produce a game that is even basically playable by wide swaths of their playerbase points to severe, systemic incompetence on the part of their leadership.
FS needs to clean house in their leadership badly. This is one of the worst spectacles of incompetence in game development leadership in a long time.
How depressing for a game whose core gameplay and art designs are so well done. The actual talent of the game/art designers overshadowed and ruined by a bungling and incompetent leadership who are seemingly completely incapable of producing a stable, functional game.
The silence is deafening.
Doesnāt work on my RX 580 either. Windows 10, so Iām in the victimized group here.
Game ran pretty much perfect from release to now. I can count on my fingers the number of times it crashed in 400+ hours of play, and now I canāt even start it to try to first new content in months.
Feels bad, man.
Saw someone on Steam mention this so I tried it out on my wifeās computer. If you upgrade to win 11 the game launches perfectly with an AMD GPU. Still doesnāt work on mine which is still 10 but 11 seems to work fine.
lol so Fatshark doesnāt support Windows 10 anymore?
Crashes on Windows 11. AMD RX 6800.

Very disappointing that there is no new information on this. I downloaded patch as soon as I could and still cant touch the game a tall a large amount of players cant even participate in the community event.
And the first challange is almost completeā¦
Wow. It is personal isnāt it? No one is this incompetent. I guess I will check prices on an nvidia card.
In the 20+ years of gaming this is a first for me.
Iām glad we know itās a known issue, but this is so utterly disappointing.
Thereās a community goal I cannot contribute to. Thereās new content that now seems to be locked behind a wall because of the GPU I have, and the OS I have.
The communication is extremely thin. Practically non-existent, on a major content launch.
I cannot play the game that, just yesterday, I was enjoying.
