Just a small encouragement for FatShark to know there are probably many players outside who stopped playing DarkTide simply because it lacks content and polish but who are very eager to reconnect with it as soon as it turns into what was announced and marketed… A game with more classes / subclasses, weapon attachment systems, a story written by Dan Abnett (omg I’m so hyped for this !), regular addition of new maps…
Also is it too early to discuss all those hints about fighting jean stealers ?!

My preference is Tzeench. Tzangors, blue and pink horrors…ranged daemons could be done in Darktide without them being super annoying. With them being projectiles they might even be an interesting mobility challenge compared to Shooters.
Flamers of Tzeench would also be fine considering all the flamer enemies already present.
The game is rated 18+ where i live.
I assume that it has mature rating, or what it is called in other places too.
Slaneesh should not be a problem in that regard.
Also, i am pretty sure you should not be playing darktide at work anyway.

Tzeentch has been here since day 1. Mutant pushed you through a wall? Tzeentch plying a trick on you. You swear you activated your ult but then it doesn’t happen? Tzeentch! Disconnected from the game? Tzeentch banished you to the warp.
I hope there will be enemy psykers, witches for dregs, sanctioned psykers for scabs, we have no blightstormer and lifeleech analogue, same for stormvermins, plaguebearers when? reeee.
Also different ogryn types
More aggressive bulwarks with smaller shields and more dangerous melee weapons would be peak. Fighting maulers is actually really fun, too, so I’d like to see more melee specialists within their Elite archetype.
Also player usable chain cleaver for Ogryn is legally required. Its the law in my country.
Yea I completely agree, i will say though that a good portion of the community that would have comeback if they fixed these issues a while ago will probably not come back. Honestly i believe the max the population will ever get if they fixed or added everything they promised+ more is 4,000+.
Its not a small amount of players but it’s definitely lower than what they could have had. Until then though they are stuck with 1,000+ to 2,000+ players…
But damn getting to a low of 1,000+ players is LOOOOW and at this point i fully believe that a majority of fatshark devs are no longer supporting darktide and are either working on vermintide 2 DLC or working on the next project.
If i was a dev at fatshark i would just give the game to the modding community and let them go wild. Its the only chance they have at bringing this game back to life with minimal work diverging and or money spent.
They should just add more weapon variations for elites and they can generate shittones of enemies by mixing stuff with this armor type system they have, like fully carapaced mauler with pmaul+shield, or half naked maniac mauler with dual chain axes, etc.
