Just here to mention the game has had 4 sales since December, seems desperate

Just came back after a couple months just to say that.

On steam, companies get 3 sales/year outside of sales periods.

They still have to opt in. You can opt out of those sales. A few gamers have been salty over End of Eternity never being on sale for instance.

That said, opting out of them is seen as poor practice and usually an L, so you’re right. It doesn’t make sense to view it as losing to participate in sales.

The sales thus far:
-Pre-Release Bonus
-Spring Sale
-Warhammer Fest
-Summer Sale

then what tells the story, is the amount of discount

Bought this game for $27 last week, now I’m actively unable to play my $70 Diablo 4 because this game is way too fun. Already at 100 hours and I know this’ll be one of the best games I’ve played.

Lacks content and crafting is trash, but with weapons and combat that doesn’t need a progression system or rewards to enjoy means I’ll be having fun for a while.

Thats great, the core game is actually really great. What sucks is the systems surrounding it but those shouldnt be hard to change, Fatshark is just extremely slow

Really, the only thing that is a detriment is the crafting system, but none of the blessings are really all that powerful.

Everything else is fine, it just lacks content on every front—there’s not much to do. But there’s easily over 60 hours of fun. And if you level each class up to 30, all of that’ll be enough time to be worth the cost.
