It takes too long to get class weapons

It takes way too long to get the unique weapons for the classes. Currently playing zealot because I want to use the flamer but 8.4 hours in and rank 11 and i’ve only seen someone else using one. What level do you have to be to unlock it or is it entirely rng based within the armoury?

Yeah, it’s an issue that makes starting with a new class pointlessly painful. The first 5-10 levels everybody except the Ogryn is using mostly the same weapons. Ideally at least one class-unique weapon should be available right from the start, and additional ones should start to come around earlier than they do now.

I dont understand why they’re not available from the start tbh

Because of keeping you invested in the game. Should you get access from the get go to everything majority of players would get bored pretty quickly. Thats how it works.

Honestly if they made a pve hoard shooter that got boring because you unlocked the fun weapons they made a pretty bad game. Plus you people who only play to grind still have the better weapon stats grind either way

I see it more like you can test each new weapon you got before jumping to 1 specific.

As Psyker, I was able to buy a Force Staff from the Vendor at level 8, that doesn’t seem too bad level wise, but considering I had to spend 8 hours to get a ranged weapon that I actually find fun, that’s not that great. Sienna had access to a range of staves from the beginning, with all of them (except Flamestorm) still viable in the late-game.

I agree, I think you have to get a bit lucky with whats available on the store. The class weapons are pretty overpowered at least I can speak for Zealot. I mean the flamethrower, well its a freakin flamethrower, so hordes are pretty much not an issue anymore. and the thunder hammer is absolutely epic! I love this weapon. good crowd control, charge it up and it does extremely high single target damage. stagger, armor piercing, you name it. so my point is, I think the game would be too easy on lower difficulties if I would have my class weapons so early on in the game.
