Is there a better way to build this? (zealot)

I would consider the second one a better option, since 10% toughness on heavy attack kill it’s not that useful on DS4.

I would swap Sweet Certainty and the 5% toughness dmr for Duellist and Second Wind.
You would get much more value considering you are going constantly going to dodge with this set up.
Also if you have only one point to invest in keystone modifiers I would opt for Stalwart instead of Fury Rising. Like before it’s better value. In T5 you will be in fury fast enough already and remain active for long, this modifier will be active much more giving you more value.

stalwart my beloved
and yes good one

i agree also on this, i have them

this build not ironically can solo DH in auric damnation maelstorm just by using DS
not that is any useful but just to understand how strong it is :smiling_imp:

I’m not a fan of the first part of the left path on Zealot because Disdain feels like a useless tax node on anything other than the highest-cleave weapons, but otherwise yeah there’s a lot good advice here.
Disdain is literally just Sustained Assault but worse, it’s only active one out every other swing

Yeah the sad state affairs with the zealot tree, its been always too easy to grab all the good stuff. Some stuff is just “too good to miss out”, over half of the tree is full of “dead” talents and “dead” branches.

I actually made two builds about Dueling Sword on Zealot. Both are extremely effective. The second build is in the description of the linked build.

Agile is OP as always.

i sometimes wonder whatever the f/uck is happening at balance team
like how do you come up with something as game breaking as Agile?
dodging is supposed to be a skill expression and not just mashing your button like an ape

on other weapons is kinda bad, but it’s thanks to DS or high crit weapons that make it look good imo

not sure where agile is though
ds, knife i think? then dunno about others

but in substance, is the fact how a weapon can land out crits etc.

force sword was used to have infinite dodges, then they change that

but then they also add agile :smiling_imp:

agile only needs weakspot hits, not crits

and DS does many weakspot hits

wonder if on axe is still good agile on axes

crits give a lot of breakpoints so you either need shred or the new crit blessing (on mk2 taxe at least, i dont use other marks because they feel bad), and you cant drop brutal momentum

epic

so a blessing that is only good for DS :smiling_imp:

Agile on TacAxe is still cray, yes.

Don’t delude yourself, dodging is absolutely ape mashing, the dodge limit just prevents that from being effective 100% of the time - more like 80%.

try mashing with something that has 3 dodges

I would do that
This respects your wishes and the spirit of your build that you have shown us.

But I use this

About the third resist on curios… I try without 3 x toughness reduction.
I ve put gunner, this is pretty situational tbh
I ve put bomber cause a poxburster that explodes on you this often happens, especially when someone has the great idea to want helping you by shooting it in front of you.

And yes the second does not use revolver.
Precision: for me agile (DS blessing) scourge, enduring faith and good balance are somewhat mandatory. Less the critic keystone. Especially on a toughness build.

it’s really good on tactical axe for sure

Ask the person who introduced infinite dodges on force swords and then removed them after the launch. I would imagine the same person decided that hitting a headshot makes infinite dodges “balanced” again

DS is more than good enough without Agile, but if you want extra safety net on vet for example, its a safe pick for sure, especially with how silly overpowered Mk IV DS has remained all this time.
