Posting this here since Darktide doesn’t have a build guides section on the forum?
I recently made three articles talking about 5 different ways you can build the Zealot, Psyker, and Veteran
Despite the Secrets of the Machine God update being a month old I think having build articles for these three classes are important since the most in-depth build guide is the Ogrynomicon and the other three classes don’t have their own nomicon.
Feedback and criticism are appreciated because in the end these builds are meant to help players figure out what they want to do with the other three classes.
There’s a really excellent ogrynomicon-level veteran guide pinned on the official discord, with an update being written by path.exe. Psykers have the Atheneum guide by Pygex on Steam.
Zealots… Don’t really believe in all this being clever stuff.
Edit: I would also add that Kuli has a Steam guide for each talent tree which looks into the game code to reveal what the tooltips don’t tell you. Essential reading.
Edit edit: I don’t normally post links but here goes.

Here’s a FotF Zealot meta I’m running. Your “Rager Zealot” seem rather damage and point inefficient - grabbing Thy Wrath Be Swift on the right side of the tree is a good choice, but I don’t think Grievous Wounds is a good node at all, nor is The Master’s Retribution.
I find Inexorable Judgement meshes really well with frontline Zealot builds that use Fury, because it stacks on top of the existing attack speed bonus you should have full upkeep on to make your melee combat even more ridiculous. Blazing Piety is unneeded.
As for your “Support Zealot” build, why not take Blazing Piety for Chorus CDR? Martyrdom is a lot weaker if you aren’t going all-in on melee, and your points would be better spent on a better keystone. I have another support Zealot build with lots more CDR by building far more into crit.
I can’t comment on stealth since I haven’t used it enough to make a proper build, but your “Stealth Zealot” tree seems fine enough. I’d drop Until Death on that tree as well and invest in Invocation of Death (again, lol. This is the best node in the Zealot tree, period).
It’s a shame Darktide launched in such a state that Royale w/ Cheese didn’t care for it enough to invest the same time they did for VT2 with their guides. Totally understandable of course, but still a bummer.
I also made two more articles talking about some of the weapons and a general ranking of all of the classes.
which frontline zealot build do you prefer? left side with blazing piety / fury, or right side with inexorable / momentum?
I find Momentum to be a lot more fun. Piety is for CDR from Invocation of Death and I don’t have any trouble with FotF upkeep.
