Is it so hard to make a Mechanicus Adept class?

Scum such as arbites?

It isn’t hard to make it. There were leaks made on Reddit 6-7 weeks ago of some class’s frames. All of their descriptions talked about Omnissiah. The Mechanicus class will come to DarkTide sooner or later.

We will get a Mechanicus class, just not in this update.

And when it happened, did it end up fitting?

Lets go hype train, settle myself up for disappointment round 2.

My guess is later; maybe when they want to bring people back in huge numbers once more in another year. They know an AdMech character would be a huge draw for people who would demand that they take their money to play one. Its an 01100001 01100011 01100101 in the hole.

It’s not even copium this time. Go on Reddit, go back 6-7 weeks and search for “class leaks”. There very much is Mechanicus related stuff in the game’s files, which confirms it will be added eventually. When that eventually happens, that’s the tricky part.

In the game files? Just like that one monstrosity thats been in game files for 2 years now and not even a hint of it coming out?

Dont give me false hopes man…. I’ve suffered enough. I’d rather be pleasantly surprised then disappointed for the 3rd time in a row.

I think it probably by Game’s Workshop direction (youtuber insiders pretty much say it was)…probably the same for Arbites honestly.

Still hope for AdMech maybe more hype around Dawn of War 4 playable mechanicus faction.

I think a lot of people complained.

In-universe, he was immediately persona non grata, death-marked by the entire Empire, and had to flee from the very spot for his life.

IRL, the End Times were widely hated. Maybe this specific move wasn’t complained about too much but End Times were pretty garbage writing any way you look at things. To say nothing of the setting’s biggest fans learning that the hobby they had spent thousands of dollars/pounds on had just been thrown in the trash by the IP owner. It was a crappy move any way you cut it. There was plenty of complaining going on.

This is not a public frame, this is Mechancius Moribund, the playtester frame (screenshot by @Epic_Cole, a playtester)

I didn’t want

Mechanics but I would have taken them over an uninspired hive ganger. I mean aren’t all of our rejects either hive hangers or outcasts of some sort ( I think some of the character creation background are hive ganger) just what does it add. I was excited but damn what a letdown.

Quoting from a post I made in mid-2024 about how I’d justify this:

‘Course, this post was made pre-cop era, so if we ever do get an admech they might not even be a reject.

I’d love it if FS moved away from the Reject thing. And as for where the Tech-Adept or Tech-Priest could come from? I’m sure there are many Industrial Worlds or even Forge Worlds in the Moebian Domain that could serve as the origin point for our AdMech character. Our dear Hadron is from the Forge World of Urdesh, and Mechanicus’ Scaevola is from Stygies VIII.

Literally all classes are a mix of melee and ranged it’s how the game is played

Picture is funny, but mechanicus fits the game narratively, i think it’s just a matter of time.
