I’ve seen several old topic with people complaining about iron sights.
I find it really uncomfortable to blind aim at havoc where you can’t just shoot and pray because every bullet counts and some enemies must go down asap.
If devs are so passionate about havoc, maybe it’s the time to address these issues finally
No offense but this is a skill issue. The balance of the boltgun is that it has very high damage output but is slow and unwieldy. Its not necessarily supposed to be its job to easily snipe things, but if you are good enough then you very well can. Its one of my favorite weapons for sniping because of its inverse damage fall off and surprising accuracy once you learn how to aim with the sway and iron sights. Pinging lets you see enemies through the iron sight of your gun anyways so as long as you know where to put your sight then you can hit things very consistently from any almost any range.
bolter and bolt gun are some of the most accurate ads weapons in the game once you get used to them youll find yourself killing stuff you cant even see(big boolet effect)
Your comment is quite irrelevant. There is no skill issue, there is a design flaw in the model. Period.
If Boltguns were supposed to be so “skillful” then they’d had no ironsight at all (like braced guns – intended design) but they actually have it but as you can see on the screenshot it goes invisible mode in some cases making it clunky. Arguing that it’s a part of difficulty level is like playing under server issues.
you can use this mod to put sights on it, useful but i never struggled with bolter sights before i downloaded it.
Thank you. I knew there was something in the mods, just didn’t want to fix every issue this way. It’s just stunning to me that addressing issues similar to vet smoke or psyker flames blinding/making screen messy is something called “skill issue”
