When using a controller with the PC version, pressing the interact button currently causes the game to crash (the “X” button on an xbox controller, and the “square” button on a Playstation controller).
This was a problem in December 2018: Controller related crash, 100% rate. User “krindi” had a good summary of it in that thread. It is the same problem.
