Game Crash on PS4 Controller Press during Mod Menu

I play on PC but use a PS4 controller. If I am in the mod menu in-game (F4 hotkey) and press any button on my controller (or tilt the analogue stick), the game crashes. It happens every time. Here is an example crash message:

It is easy to play around, as I can just put my controller down on the table while in the mod menu and navigate it with the mouse. No other menus crash if I use my controller.
