Crash as Rats when damaging a Hero

Issue Description (Required):

This Crash happens every few minutes to hours. It only happens when playing Versus as Rats and is only triggered by dealing damage to a Hero. It is always the same Script Error happening. If i play an evening it happens at least once, but it can happen multiple times and in quick succession too.
I haven’t tried disabling all my mods but I removed all except a few which are essential for me.

Hey @DiceDexter,

This crash is related to the Numeric UI mod - please try disabling this.

Will there be an update to the game to try and mitigate this issue if Numeric UI does not get updated for whatever reason?

I’ll try disabling it, even though I’ll miss it dearly. But better to not crash that often haha

Numeric UI was not the culprit or at least the issue persisted. I have additionally deactivated all mods except UI tweaks. Now I pray to Sigmar because I don’t think I can play without that one. Got so used to it after 1250 hours.

Ah, that’s interesting then. Could you please share a crash report, or console logs from sessions the issue occurs, so we can take a look?

Over the holidays I tested around a bit more and the mod which leads to the Crash (scripts/ui/hud_ui/unit_frame_ui.lua:1643: attempt to index local ‘widget’ (a nil value)) was UI Tweaks. After deactivating it, I did not crash a single time.
Big sadge about that, I liked my Custom HUD, but not crashing is way better haha.
I therefor also don’t have any up-to-date console logs and launcher logs to share, since it has been some time since the last crash.
I still have a lot of crash dump files - I can provide these if it helps :slight_smile:
