Indiscriminate Blast, Dawi-Drop, Barge are still pointless. What can be changed to make them more useful respectively?

Indiscriminate Blast appears pointless even in Cata as you already have more than enough tools to de with hordes and you’re losing a long ranged tool for nothing.

Barge…Barge doesn’t even work, period. And I don’t know why. Bug. Some other interaction. But even if it does work, does it serve any purpose?

As for Dawi Drop, it’s only ever picked for a meme build with pickaxe to one shot Chaos Warriors

Well you do if you run griffonfeet or arguably volley, not without them? Not that it keeps people from realizing that it only really works on conga lines and thus keeps them from using it.

It doesnt? Can anyone confirm? I recall it working last i checked though that was ages ago…but besides that, indeed it´s quite subpar compared to the others on the row. Only way to fix would probably be giving the talent additional functionalities ontop the intended one. Like extra dodges and perhaps, distance.

Keeps the functionalities it has now, while also letting it reset fully or partially on elite kill. Furthermore gets extra cleave and range for the strike. Let the Pactsworn know the fear of bloodthirsting frenzied dwarf bouncing rabidly everywhere.

Blast could be a safe option. Damage reduction during/after firing might work.

Dawi Drop could last for 3 seconds after landing.

Barge does work; the stagger strength is only enough for chaff/trash mobs. The damage reduction talents are extremely strong. Do what Tourney Balance does: give Slayer 15% passive damage reduction, nerf the two damage reduction talents a moderate amount, and give Barge 10% dodge distance in addition to its current effect.

Dawi drop is better than people think. It’s a raw power increase, as long as you get air it can get pretty similar stagger breakpoints to crunch (possibly better on some elites with an opportunist weapon out, can’t be bothered checking stagger break point guide) and do the funny big hits on top of that. Not saying I’d complain about a few seconds active after landing but it’s not as bad as people make out. Janky jump trajectory is the worst thing about using it, give me the floaty early release leap back.

It’s like +150% power so it already does that in spades.

Barge I’d like to see some extra dodge range added to the package. I’d strongly consider it if it also gave +10% dodge distance.

Balance mods have the right idea about indiscriminate blast. Just make it short enough cooldown and it becomes pretty appealing for BH who super benefits from having a “get off me” option. Pocket shotgun is a good thing to have so long as you get to use it decently often

I am talking like letting greataxe slayer jump into 3 stormvermin and split them all in one go! Along with any chaff shields that happen to be in the way! For Grimnir!

Though after having slept and regained some sanity points, letting that also fully or even partially reset would probably be too much.

IDK i tried to cleave 4 gors with Great axe and couldn’t.
Mb i doing something wrong, but cleave doesn’t seem to be boosted.

Things like Dawi drop and double shotted should be built in.
Talents that enables skill expressions shouldn’t be interchangeable with other stuff.
Id prefer Dawi drop to be moved in base ability and replaced with something new.

I’d go a step further and just allow BH to bypass Cooldown if they want at the cost of ludicrous amounts of ammunition depending on what their ranged weapon is.

It’d be an emergency trade-off and is always inefficient to use over waiting out off cooldown…but the emergency button is there if you want to overclock.

Indiscriminate Blast simply needs to actually have some spread (literally your entire screen in width). The entire point of the skill is to change the focus from single to multi target.

A cool animation change could simply be Saltzpyre “dragging” his arm from left to right when shooting, to signify the increased attack spread.

Sure but that would require them to design an entirely new gun for a single talent, which I personally think is quite a high ask.

it works fine? Barge is essentially just a push that’s now tied to your dodge. if you can’t push through their attack normally then you can’t barge through it. OP might be trying to barge through SV’s while they’re doing an attack, even some clanrats are like this with barge too. I’ve used barge with some degree of success. It actually is quite nice with great axe or great hammer because you can just push enemies to make room for yourself instead of having to turn and push.
