Indignatus and power maul special slowdown is bad

Seriously, i press a button and slow to a crawl. Its the only power or chain weapon that does this and it feels horrible. Plus it can be ignored with sprint-slide tech so you’re just forcing low skill players to suffer a pointless and unpleasant mechanic for no reason.

Ditch it.

Just gonna add to this that Paul and Crusher have bad enough base mobility anyway so it’s not like full speed while charging could really lead to anything crazy. I’m not that fussed since as you pointed out there are ways around it, but you’re right to say that just makes it even more pointless.

I am back to this drum to beat it again after playing a hi-int game. There’s other problems with the weapon but combined with the chronic no-reg and input loss problems that plague the game it can be extremely punishing to queue up a special attack, slow to a crawl, only for the effect not to work and you land a normal strike or noreg so it doesn’t trigger the aoe.

Eliminate special activation slow down.

My biggest problem with using it (similar problems with the thunderhammers and sometimes with chain weapons). Mostly it works fine, but then there’s a dropped package or some other IT mumbo-jumbo going on and everything rubberbands around. Did it hit? Did it not? I sit there wondering for a half second only for it to resolve that, no, it didn’t hit and everything you would have knocked down is now chewing on your face and already got the first hit in while you were winding up your next attack.

I don’t know what they need to do -or can do- to fix that, but I wish they would.
