I saw a post a bit ago talking about the fomo shop, its countless recolours and what else ye have ya and i thought of an idea that sounds fairer to the players, “frees” up more room for other cosmetics and would probably be fairly easy
Fatshark adds an options on skins to buy the recolors for lesser price but you have to have atleast one of the recolors for this to work, now don’t get me wrong i dont like the fomo shop at all, although i have bought from it a bit(like 4 items i think?) And i woukd like them to just dismantle the shop completely but i dont think that will happent though (praying to big e tho i will) but i think this is more of a middle ground which has better chance of happening, thoughts?

maybe they’ll remember that there is this commissary which still has only red & blue variants, and not even for all weapons.

I honestly doubt that, they havent looked that since the damn swappable shovel came out lol

I think FOMO is only part of the strategy.
There is also the compromise.
If you actually want a certain set but it doesn’t appear in the rotation, there are people who simply take the next best thing. Of course, FS hopes that if the set the player wants is available, they will buy it. And then you’ve sold two instead of one.
Otherwise they wouldn’t be offering the last two rotations.
And if you had access to all the sets, you might buy less. Of course, that would be the case if you look at the quality of some of them.
So unfortunately I don’t believe that your idea will be implemented, even though it would be a really great trade-off.
