Extra monster: Mission will have 1 extra monster .
Double monsters: Mission will have the double number of monsters.
Double HP for monsters: obvious.
Max time to end: Finish the mission in X time.
Faster elites: Elites are X% faster.
No ultimate: Players can’t use their ulti.
Auto-exploding bombs: If you carry a bomb, there is a low probabilty of it exploding by itself, damaging you.
Vampire mode: Players lose HP with time. Kill enemies to heal HP.
Hot potato: There is a special object, players must have it when they end mission to win. But they can only carry it for X time, when that time ends, if player doesn’t give it to other player, it will insta-down.
Those are some ideas Fatshark. Please consider them.
I like the idea of more deeds and expanding on the monster deeds I feel like it would be interesting to have something like min 1 monster trigger and if it activates double monsters spawn(can be different monsters). and maybe add some of the weekly events to deeds since for example hot potato has one weekly modifier that is really similar. though I don’t know if I would like having the max time to end since it would encourage speed running unless the timing is quite generous and I at least feel that wouldn’t be that good or fun overall.
No ultimate seems the most interesting to me. It might make the game feel generally closer to VT1. That’s along the lines of back to basics, but they botched that completely (I think it would work if it just disabled weapon properties/perks and talents, but you can’t touch hero power in this game)
Solid ideas although I’m not inlove with bombs held by the player exploding on their own.
Anyway, something which I would like to see is that we can get deeds for maps that we have the DLC for. Thus increasing the variety in the deeds that can be played also without a large increase in the number of “deed modifiers”.
