Idea for Ran.Vet. healing system rework

After playing ranger vet for a while, i’d speculated a bit and had a thought that might be worth considering. Interested to see your thoughts. It involved a rework for the way bardin heals on ranger veteran.

[ starter ‘keepsake’ health potion + 1 med supplies (can stack x2) ] >> [ after ‘keepsake’ healing potion use, bandage or med supplies (stacks x2) OR healing potion ]

In this system, bardin would start with a healing potion (a ‘keepsake’ for his own use)(except for missions where no characters start with healing potions) and a bandage or medical supplies x1 by default. This stage would be the phase one of the healing system. After the ‘keepsake’ healing potion is used, everything is in phase two of the system, where either a healing potion OR medical supplies (still stackable x2) is equipped, but the slot for the ‘keepsake’ potion is not able to be filled with a healing potion any longer. lmk your thoughts. I thought it coherant to his utilitarian support theme.

sorry ran out of characters. *in phase 1, wouldn’t be able to pick up any additional healing potions since already have ‘keepsake’ potion.
