Very nice.

Wish you recorded this in a bit higher quality though.

It was just uploaded. The quality will likely improve.

Good strat. I don’t know if I’d have the patience to loop that for close to an hour though.
It does look like this strat could probably true solo this in maybe 20 minutes if done optimally, and that might be more tolerable. I’m assuming you weren’t setting out to effectively solo this and just did it extemporaneously, in which case, this is very, very impressive.

Hell yeah, looking good man!

Shanked them to death one stab at a time. Amazing.

Impressive!

respects for a great clutch and hats off to your endurance  40 min under pressure is truly remarkable

Awesome. I’m still struggling on duo with a friend but this is some real John Wick sht. Well done OP.

why are you spamming heavy when sprinting even when there’s literally no targets in front of you, is there some mechanical reason for this or do you just have really bad adhd?

it give you a little bit of additional movement speed

insane clutch all things considered, i doubt i’d be as fortunate to pull something off, but it just reinforces to me that zealot skill tree + combat blade is so insanely power crept, and that’s coming from a big combat blade enjoyer

I need to share this with @LV426 because he does not believe me when I say that the most difficult part of HM Twins is the team, not the encounter, and that the fight can be completed in 6-8 minutes with no problems.

We have gigareject @kejetok soloing them here!

I am not trying to belittle anyone, but it is sometimes necessary to admit that you may not be as skilled as you believe you are.

For example, I am nowhere near @kejetok’s level, and I have no problem admitting it to myself or the public.

Running with a knife, or spamming heavy in this case, makes you run faster in Darktide, just like it does in Counter-Strike!

Commandable skill! Congrats

Madlad!

Really impressive stuff. You definitely earned your Hero of Atoma status!

Nice. I think you could’ve used your ult to enhance your gun to shave down on elites at the end there, but I haven’t solo’d it yet so there’s that.

No, that’s literally part of the strat. The elites are intentionally kept alive to prevent reinforcement spawning. This keeps them in a known location to be herded, saves the time and ammo spent killing them only for more to appear, and most importantly, keeps most of the specials/elite on screen as Crushers and Maulers which are easily avoided. When you’re killing them, there is a chance the replacement that takes their place is a disabler or DPS special, which is much worse.

Impressive!

But he was already engaging them from time to time in melee (and the gun too). He could’ve done it more safely and efficiently with the gun. He had plenty of charges left in the ammo crate.

Honestly what I find most impressive about this isn’t necessarily the mechanical competence of the play (definitely up there though) but the presence of mind, and patience to see it through. Other peeps of the same skill level would likely get themselves killed trying to maximize their DMG when shields are down or get cornered trying to res.

Most likely answer is “all of the above” IMO, guy was in the zone, and something like 75% of his blood was adrenaline and cortisol at that point. May have been more coincidence and improvisational decision making than a deliberate strat too. Guy would make a great NCO if he’s that quick thinking and clearheaded in high pressure situations IRL too, lol.

Yah, brain gets weird when wired. I was thinking maybe he was saving mag for when disablers spawn, but he never engaged specials with his gun except for a single flamer, so I’m not sure why he was being so conservative with it.
