I encourage ya’ll to do the same. I mean if they are going to ignore so much community feedback and avoid accountability, we might as well punish them for it and save new consumers the same misery. That’s what reviews are for. I’ll change my review when they start giving us transparent explanations for their choices and start listening to community feedback. But I think Fatshark has received enough grace from us for what’s either dev incompetence or gross mismanagement. Fatshark needs to feel this in their wallet now.

I left mine when they announced the second blessing would be locked. That was my final straw. Was hoping to change it to positive.
I uninstalled the game same day. Voting with your time as well as your reviews.

Great review.
The problem with Fatshark is they already have the money from 100k+ people who bought it at launch. Keeping the game alive so they can continue to make some money from it is the only goal. Nothing else matters to them or their lord Tencent.
These “updates” and “content drops” are just Fatshark keeping the pulse going for as long as possible.

I wish I’d done it sooner tbh. But I was actually optimistic they’d start to address the community pressure, communicate their reasoning and causes for their development challenges, and start listening to community feedback and take some accountability for their NUMEROUS shortcomings on this project.
Whooo boy was I wrong. What I’ve learned instead is that they will absolutely exploit whatever grace they are offered to change and explain almost nothing. We have to have better standards for ourselves than that. Our money is gone. But not the cash of people who’ve yet to buy.

Well, they could still make a lot more money from all the people who have yet to purchase.
We should probably try to save those new customers any misery. Our cash is gone, but not that of future customers. Whether fatshark sees this as a success or not, it can cost them their reputation for future projects. They appear to have seriously changed for the worse. We can make the public skeptical of their brand. As I feel they should be after this debacle. And that’s worth a lot more than their sales from a solitary game. Apparently that CEO stepping out had some major impact in the worst way.

That’s why I’m going to play the new map (its free!). Leave my review negative and not open darkshart again for 6~ months or whenever actual content gets added. I had such high hopes for this game. Shame it fell on its own sword, not out of honor, but out of sheer incompetence.
I cannot believe they locked the map after all the feedback about locks lmao.
