I have been in the middle of several hordes where the hound jumps through several NPC characters to disable players. Since we can not stop the hound from pinning us down other than dodging or meleeing them, this seems a bit unfair towards the player if the hound can jump through NPCs where we have limited movement. We can hear them, but we can’t necessary see where they are in a large horde.
I get Ogryns are way bigger so they might not apply.
I ask that you look into the mechanics of how the hounds jump through NPC hordes for human sized players.
The hound already interacts with the horde by knocking down any and all npc (excluding ogryns i think?) that the hound jumps through. It is most certainly avoidable to get pounced on if you push at the right time and can even save you from the 3 rangers that were on your A$$ by knocking them down.
If you cant tell where the hound is located in the horde i suggest buying better headphones. Or speakers with surround sound.
This is just another fair danger that comes with not having enough CC to keep the horde in check. Deal with it.
The hound is perfect where it is now and doesnt need any tweeks.
And as the other 2 guys said… The trapper is the one you want fatshark to take a deep look into and tweak.
