I know all that. But for a bunch of weapon families I have maybe 50% of the tier 3/4 blessings today. I know that won’t be enough to max the mastery, but will it be enough to be able to at least unlock tier 4 blessings so I can pick up a few under the new system?
I have weapons with good tier 4 blessings now that I could extract, but I don’t want to extract them ahead of the update if it won’t give enough value to be able to unlock that same blessing in the new system (so that I can apply it back to other weapons in the stockpile).
This is a very real practical question that depends on the specific numbers involved. There are half a dozen weapon families where I’m probably on the edge and where extracting blessings now might get me in a better spot post update. But there’s uncertainty about whether or not I’d even be able to re-apply some amount of my existing tier 4 blessings or not if I’m not able to get enough mastery out of the gate. I really don’t want to grind just to get back to where I am now.
On a personal note - I’m traveling for work next week ahead of the update, so at this point even if they release these details ahead of next Thursday I won’t have to play before hand. It sucks that we’ve waited soooo long for this update and in the 11th hour we don’t even have the details to make the best of the transition to the new system. It’s frustrating.
