Steam releases hotfixes as they come out.

Xbox has a certification process so it takes time.

Microsoft vet updates, from their 360 days and they just apply it universally now. They don’t want some moronic dev bricking their consoles with an erroneous update so it can take a while before they get round to letting updates pass.

They said they added logging previously to help debug the issues people were having, so yeah

WHat happened after this patch my game runs terrible now = I have a rtx 3090 and it was fine before this latest patch was very playable and decently smooth - now it feels like im getting 15 fps and its unplayable even on the lowest settings…what has happened and how can i fix???

It’s so people don’t farm on levels that they can’t win. Same reason Cata gave the same chests as Legend (only worse except people rarely grab books on Cata) in VT2.

As someone who hates playing with underskilled players that throw the game, I can begrudgingly approve of this decision.
