Given that at one stage that new classes would be released every quarter. Were then put on hold till the game was in a more fixed state. The game is now in a fixed state by the marker of cosmetics now being back in the MTX store (another thing that was put on hold).
FS are we now back on track for new classes?
I am aware of the amount of negative comments that will proceed below this question. However, FS can you please let us know even if the answer is another “It’s something we are looking into some time after the summer/winter”.
Considering they were supposed to release sienna 1 month after darktide launch and they moved her to basically next year. I extremely doubt we’ll see any new class anytime soon. Especially since xbox version still isnt out and their comment on it was basically “we’re working on it”
No, I pretty much called it that they might hold off for like 3 months maybe half a year and here we are. I guess we’ll have to wait eons for the things dataminers found that actually looked good too, with the Chosen Ogryn set being a less flashy less colorful version of another premium skin. What’s mysterious to me is how actually more unstable the game is now than before, but the game is fixed because Vestments is restocking? :confused pikachu:
I think your probably right. I doubt we will see any movement on classes for at least 6 months before they start hinting again towards working on them.
Short answer MTX were a high priority to get back, next to the console port.
Well, they still haven’t addressed major core issues with the game in what, 7 months? So either they’ll:
a.) Release the next class end of year/next year (optimistically)
b.) Release it as paid DLC, once player count drops to the point where the game starts becoming unprofitable in an attempt to continue milking a dead cash cow.
Sweden barely gets nice weather. Their summers are so short they really value that July or more minimum off. Some major places like hospitals, police stations, shops close off!
My sister lived in Sweden for few years. Then decided enough was enough of cold weather and moved to Australia. Now she says it’s too hot
So reality is that end of August/Beginning Sept is when the drive starts again leaving 4 months left until the end of the year for class and maybe more maps with reused graphical assets again.
Whilst I understand work/life balance. I would be alongside my colleagues over summer during the need arises for benefit of company and colleagues.
