I don’t think it will happen. Your average tech priest is way too powerful for a team of rejects (and their watchdogs, recently). So, or even more, are Skitarii, because their many cybernetic augmentations are suited specifically for combat.

IMHO both couldn’t be implemented in DT without making them way too OP, and we allready see the unrest in the player base because of the already OP Arbites which despite of their specialized training are mere humans.

In name I do also agree that neither a Tech Priest or a Skitarii could realisticly work.

But they could take a lower class, that as they evolve in the Inquisition get to nabs some more special Admech things.

Baring some exception, like weapons that are too rare (Volkite), restricted (Radium), or mark of offices (Omnisian Axes), most weapons could be sourced, and given access to ‘trusted’ Acolytes.

It’s probably also why Inquisitor Martyr only had a Tech-Adept, not a fully-into-the-Mars-Cult Techpriest. If you look carefully at the Tech-Adept, he’s just standing on a legged platform and only has relative minor augments.

Yes, though the Tech Adept still get an Omnisian Axe (which kind of seem strange when it’s the mark of Office for Tech Priests)

The Tech Adept in Martyr is an Inquisitor, seems more powerful than the average Techpriest

You mean, for example a squad of four veteran guardsmen (maybe replace one or two with a haggard homeless person on bath salts and a chainsaw sword) that can (and do on almost everyone mission) single-handedly take out literal thousands of trained soldiers with chaos blessings, cultists, mutants, and demonspawn with their standard lasguns and a box of frag grenades.

I’ll never understand these kind of arguments in this game lol Edit: Just give me fun new classes/abilities FS ty. It’s fiction, made up, make-believe, pretend, you can come up with an equally pretend reason to add it.

Let’s say we rescue some damaged tech dude with half his implants missing, so that’s his introduction already, and he has to prove his worth in that state before he can be upgraded

I think that argument is dumb af too primarily because its an Game and especially cause it is Warhammer 40k…just look at any other 40k Game lol

A ogryn can kill a chaos terminator in melee so I don’t think a tech priest’s power level is to high for our rejects.

Sorry bro, tech nerds will have to wait until after the Felinid update.

Felinid would be a great addition unironically

They added them into 40k in the first place and theres dumber Abhumans like the Ratlings or Beastmen. Felinid as they are described would be amazing
