Havoc Season 3 Feedback

Some rituals are still bugged (Refinery)

Red enemies should lose the effect if they get healed above 50% of their HP

Optimize Rampaging Enemies (Orange) because it REALLY tanks FPS

Stop trying to re-implement 1.0 mutations

Season 3 is literally same as season 2.

Dont know why we name it season 3

Well, it’s true that Havoc is basically the same as 2.0, just with a different map rotation. Even if it takes time to refine, a major overhaul is needed for Havoc and the current balance adjustments.

Recently me and friend try to do true duo havoc 40 on sicorax.

We try to do this and fail. But we learn that u can totally broke spawn system just running through level.

U will run and see 0 enemies.

But we want to challenge ourselfs and try to do lvl as intended.

And what i want to say that havoc by itself is good. Bad is bugs.

U can die to voidshield, trappers can net u behind tons of crushers, crushers by itself can kill u absolutely silently from behind, flamers always take dmg to the fuel tanks, even if u shoot them in the front, poxbusters ignoring pushes, chaos spawns grab u behind walls and stairs.

Ah, taking dmg in grasp of mutant, spawn, beast is irritating.

We drop idea to do true duo havoc 40

So FS can sell the lie of the “live service game” to themselves.

Live Service* :tm: :copyright: :registered:

*(service applies only to havoc players as we consistently lock gameplay enhancing modifiers to only this mode)

Not Havoc exclusive, hate to see it happening all the time in Heresy and Damnation

This has been always true. I’m sure I have seen people doing solo runs in H40 already. Speedrunning with a DS or knife.

For me, it feel better. last season I feel that I lost more to random RNG and stuff than it being my fault. This season feel hard with appropriate spikes, rather than it randomly spiking in difficulty that range from small bumps to now there are four bosses.

Also apparently there’s a new modifier, not in the rotation yet, called “Warp Rift”

It’s basically the same as “Twin Blight” from Vermintide 2, which makes some enemies spawn lesser enemies on death

From testing I’ve seen Elites/Specials can spawn melee trash and stalkers, and that Ogryn based enemies spawn lesser Elites

Apparently there’s a comment around that killing a Captain spawns 2 Daemonhosts, but I don’t think that Fatshark will release it like that even if it’s how it works right now

Spawning twenty f-cking bulwarks on Encroaching Gardens is f-cked up and evil and bad and I’d like it gone entirely

And Heinous Rituals needs a fix

And spawning twins + captain + a horde + special wave + weakened monster all at once is also f-cked up and evil and bad

Beacause it IS season 3

I’m not calling it Havoc 3.0, but it is objectively Season 3

If u have two identical cartoons u will name them cartoon season 1 and cartoon season 2?

I don’t understand this comparison, because cartoons themselves are split into seasons?

Nowhere I or anyone ever said Havoc from season 2 is different from season 3, I made this thread with the idea to update it with concerns or if they add new features (Like I mentioned in another comment, the possibility of “Warp Rift” appearing in the mutator rotation)

More like the vast majority of rituals are bugged.
Cannot remember a single mission where at least 1 was either activating 2 rooms away or activated directly in fast mode.

Even got a mission with 3x in the same room…

And as usual, the biggest issue of Havoc is the deranking system, which is hot caca

Played a bit of Havoc for the last week it was a lot of fun.
Curious how is this “Havoc 3.0” ?? Did they announce that? It is like exactly like Havoc 2.0.

Anyways, I gotta say I agree the Heinous Rituals feel a bit bugged or unfair.
Most of the games it was some absolute BS ^^

Some situations we ran into

  1. Ritual spawning behind locked door (by the nurgle thing you need to break + kill the center eye), same time as boss + horde, and after we cross the door it’s 2 levels under in the basement completely out of sight
  2. Ritual spawning nowhere to be seen, somewhere ahead, at the same time as the twins, a horde, and 2 Chaos Spawns (1 reg, 1 lesser). GLHF
  3. Rushing an already hard to reach ritual, but getting to it is within range to trigger a 2nd one in the same room (wtf) and a boss and horde at the same time
  4. Ritual timer appears, of course with a boss and horde etc, we beat the ritual but there was a 2nd timer (not displayed) that somehow elapsed and now we got a daemonhost, gg :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

It’s still fun, but sometimes I don’t know what we could have done differently to try to get the W.

It’s not exactly Havoc 3.0, but it is Season 3

Nothing changed gameplay wise, but the rank reset and 3 months have passed since Season 2, so now it’s Season 3

Every 3 months or so Havoc will go on the next season, probably accompanied by another either big or semi-big update

I still remember some people defended Havoc 2.0 in my original thread where I complained about rituals, bulwark spawns and boss spam in the first week of the update.

And here we are now, people finally realizing how broken the difficulty scaling is. The fact that Havoc 30 can be as hard as Havoc 40 if you get bodied by RNG and bugged spawns is absolutely f-ing stupid.
