I’ve been experimenting with a new key for the ultimate (due to the crashes on having it on mouse) and at some point I left it unbinded. That caused a crash, and to be able to launch the game again I had to delete the save data file again.
On a side note, the worst part of deleting that file is having to go through all the items to set favorites again. 
It would be great if that could be saved otherwise.
