When the game was first released, solo mode was a core feature that influenced my purchase; when will/is this feature going to be implemented?
You have just released a paid DLC and as yet have not delivered core features. When will these features be added?
If that feature has been cut, when will you be announcing that change?
I purchased the game with the expectation that you would add promised features. where are they?
its def been cut and its to keep people from using cheats in unreportable ways to get pennances.

Not really speculation, and they already dropped theri supposed solution to solo play which is duos. If its what you are looking for out of the game, you should probably refund. If we do get it, id give it 5 years.

they wonāt be announcing it or doing anything to have it be in the game, not without a class action lawsuit against the main company in sweden. they DID commit breach of contract and do not care to add it without threat of losing their money.
thatās not really how it works in most developed countries, we have government consumer protection commissions and so forth that deal with that.
Iām just asking the question as a good faith gesture. If they do not wish to answer then that is their prerogative I suppose.
Solo and Duos were announced at the same time originally, Duos is not a āsolutionā to lack of solo play when they were originally planned side-by-side.
And if their concern was really cheaters, itād be easy for them to just outright say that, no? Instead all we got was āits ready to go and coming just after launchā, which turned into āIts being revisedā which turned into āIts not a priority right nowā which turned into silence, with no clear explanation for how or why this happened.
Literally all they have to do is say WHY it was indefinitely delayed like this and most of the people asking for solo mode, myself included, would likely just move on.
The primary issue is that FS themselves completely refuse to acknowledge it beyond even the most vague terms.
As long as itās not officially confirmed, itās speculation.
If you specifically bought it to play solo, and havenāt played a ton already you can probably request a refund and get it. You may not be able to get it automagically via steam but put in a ticket with FS and see.
But if youāve played like 500 hours already but āreally wanted soloā IDK what to tell you.
It appears to have been quietly dropped, but frankly, I donāt understand why. VT2 had solo play, and it worked well enough. They obviously have their reasons, but they should be honest about it.
Vt2 was also peer to peer.
As for it being a refund causes, I think theyāll hinge on the matter that solo wasnāt used as advertisements per se.
I received an email from Fatshark Support indicating that the advertised solo mode has been removed from the games scope and will not be worked on.
They have not yet processed my refund or offered an indication as to when they will be doing so. Still waiting to hear on that.

itās just the same āat this timeā nonsense, which is kind of what I expected. They did not comment on the refund request at all, which I also expected.
Fatshark does not act in good faith with their customers, but the expectation here is that you make a good faith effort to resolve these issues yourself before pestering consumer watchdogs. Iāll make another request, adding purchase date details and copies of their repeated deferments of service vis a vis the purchased solo mode, then ask again.
If they again refuse to acknowledge the lack of delivery then I feel Iām within my rights to make a fuss. Best case I can take them to a civil tribunal and, seeing as they wonāt be flying here for that, win by default. itās all free to do so I may as well

Well you paid for it, so it should be. They donāt get to change the deal just becasue they already got paid.

If they can sell a paid DLC they can finish the product I paid them for.
Fatshark are frauds. I came to them for a refund after they refused to add solo mode with bots like we had in VT2, and they refused it. I only bought it for solo with bots, and I only played long enough to level up the characters so I could use them as bots. I will never buy another Fatshark product.
It should be, I agree. Hope you get your refund. Me, Iāve got more hours in this game than any other Iāve ever played, so Iām content with what theyāve delivered. I understand things get shifted around based on the priorities of a company thatās responsible for the livelihoods of 100+ people. Not saying you donāt, just that I sympathize from that angle too. Itās annoying, but itās not a deal-breaker for me.
