GPU Performance greatly decreased after changing from windowed to borderless full-screen in launcher

We kindly ask that you complete the questions below. With this information, we can investigate your issue properly.

Issue Description:
My graphics card has been seemingly bottlenecked after switching from windowed to borderless fullscreen, This performance decrease can be observed in other games besides darktide as well. But it only started after I switched the view mode. No crashes, from this. But I’m only getting an average of fewer than 10 frames a second at best. The issue still persists after changing the setting in-game.

Performance did go back to itself, after i turned my system off for a few hours and came back, though maybe a restart could have fixed it.
