this is one of those odd schisms, where i love the base concept, world design, aestethics etc but even early in my journey through 40k knit a very tight “head-canon” and leave out all the recent bulkshit, retcons etc.
like star wars ended in the 80s for me and there are only 2 terminator movies.
and i am so much happier for it 
cant find the source material anymore sadly, was a weird “talk show” if you want to call it that.
bottom line was “masturbation” and they put a prudish puritan kinda woman next to a dude that liked to rub one out every now and then.
when she was ranting about how “wrong and immoral” spanking the monkey was, in her mind anyways, the best reply sent her to tears.
:“mrs. when i get home i’ll violenty masturbate, thinking of YOU and there’ll be nothing you can do about.”
so yeah, its kinda the same treatment i practise with gw.
rub one for the emprah when it turns me on and leave the yucky parts away 
to every fan putting time and effort into creating such a love letter to the 40k universe.

STOP ADVERTISING OUR BRAND FOR PENNIES\FREE PEOPLE SHOULD WATCH THEIR 40K ADVERTISING THOUGH PAYING FOR A WARHAMMER+ SUBSCRIPTION.
Gw when people like their brand so much they give up their own time to create their own art of it that gets people interested into the brand while gw literally have to do nothing.
