Issue Description:
Did a join Random Heresy game on my Ogryn. About 5 minutes into mission enemy and player animations sped up, as if the the games tick rate had randomly increased somewhere between 120 - 150% of normal speed. At first I thought I was going crazy but we actually stopped mid mission and discussed it.
No game crash, and we were able to finish the mission. Post mission status screen and load back into the Morningstar acted normally, player animations in the Morningstar were back to normal speed following this, though tick rate and animation function in Morningstar probably unrelated.
Steps to Reproduce:
I’ve never seen it before, but it was striking enough and odd enough that I made an account just to report it. I’ve no idea what caused it. We paused to discuss it because it was so wild.
It is worth noting that I am running some of the commonly used mods from Nexus with my client, though I’ve never had any problem with them before. I don’t believe they’ve anything to do with it, but I suppose we can’t rule it out.
My mod list and load order are as such,:
NumericUI
Healthbars
ui_extension
animation_events
scoreboard
reroll_until_rarity
Blessings of the Omnissiah
Mission Name (If Applicable):
Consignment Yard - Heresy Difficulty - No Listed Modifiers
Platform:
[Steam/Microsoft Store]
Steam
Player ID:
I’m not sure where to find player I.D. I’m Fallbach on Steam, the Ogryn I was playing on was Boz.
(Edit: 11723903 is probably the player I.D. you mean)
Approx. Time of Issue & Timezone:
This occurred around approximately 1:30 AM, 4/17/2023. I’m on East Coast US so likely a US based server.
Reproduction Rate:
Once - Rare (<10%) - Unusual (<25%) - Common (<50%) - Often (<75%) - Constant (100%)
This has only happened once. I’m at a modest 525 hours of Darktide game play, so I don’t think I was mistaking the games speed due to unfamiliarity. It really was sped up.
Upload Supporting Evidence:
[Screenshots, recordings, links to Twitch VODs, etc.]
I do not normally make video game clips or recordings and I’m not exactly sure how to. It also didn’t strike me to do until after we were done because the fighting was happening so fast it didn’t occur to me, sorry for that.
