Hi @Kairos,

From your launcher log I can see there is some confusion over your GPU and your display adapter.

Your NVIDIA 3070 is being detected, and AMD Radeon Graphics, however no valid display is being returned for your NVIDIA 3070.

10:39:53.345 [Launcher] [Main Window] [SysInfo] !! DirectX returns no valid monitors attached for adapter 1 (NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU)
10:39:53.345 [Launcher] [Main Window] [SysInfo] ?? Didn't find a valid display for adapter 1 (NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU)?

It appears that it may be defaulting to Adapter 0 AMD Radeon Graphics.

I recommend ensuring your default GPU is set correctly. Please check out the following:

    • Ensure your monitors are plugged in to the dedicated (as opposed to the integrated) GPU ports on the back of your PC
  • Perform a clean re-installation of your GPU drivers using the appropriate instructions below:

  • For NVIDIA GPUs: Ensure both Steam and Darktide are set to use your dedicated GPU within the NVIDIA Control Panel by:

    1. Right-click the desktop and select the ‘NVIDIA Control Panel’
    2. Navigate to ‘Manage 3D Settings’ > ‘Program Settings’
    3. Locate Steam within the list of programs
    4. Within the ‘Select the preferred graphics processor for this program:’ dropdown, choose the NVIDIA GPU
    5. Then locate Darktide within the list of programs, and repeat the above step
  • For Windows 10 users:

    1. Navigate to ‘Settings’ > ‘System’ > ‘Display’
    2. Select ‘Graphics Settings’
    3. Select the ‘Browse’ button and locate the appropriate executable:
    • Darktide: Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Darktide\binaries
    1. Select the ‘Options’ button
    2. Choose ‘High performance’ and save your changes

Please let me know how this goes.

This did not work, I had already set everything related to Darktide to my GPU way in the open beta.
Just for context I had been able to play Darktide just fine before uninstalling a few months ago, and I haven’t changed anything about my laptop settings since.

I also just now did a clean install of my GPU drivers and retried it, It didn’t work either.

@FatsharkLev Oops, forgot to mention mention you that I responded

@FatsharkLev Yo, I would appreciate a response(since its been 5 days) but the game launches fine and uses my GPU when I start it from the “Start_protected_Game” and it uses my GPU. It seems like a Launcher issue to me but who knows

(also i can’t actually play the game from starting it that way, it just gives me an error that I cant log in)
