Hi Petrowi, I can see the Intel(R) UHD Graphics is currently set as your primary GPU instead of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050.
This can cause stability issues, as your primary GPU doesn’t meet Darktide’s requirements. Please see the steps listed below to resolve this issue:
Step 1: Check Monitor Connections
Ensure your monitors are connected to the dedicated GPU ports on the back of your PC, rather than the integrated GPU ports.
Step 2: Perform a Clean Driver Re-Installation
Step 3: Set Your Dedicated GPU as Default
For NVIDIA GPUs
Right-click the desktop and select the ‘NVIDIA Control Panel’
Navigate to ‘Manage 3D Settings’ > ‘Program Settings’
Locate Steam within the list of programs
Within the ‘Select the preferred graphics processor for this program:’ dropdown, choose the NVIDIA GPU
Then locate Darktide within the list of programs, and repeat the above step
For AMD GPUs
Right-click the desktop and select ‘Radeon Settings’
Navigate to ‘Preferences’ > ‘Additional Settings’ > ‘Power’ > ‘Switchable Graphics’ > ‘Application Settings’
Locate Steam within the list of programs
In the ‘Graphics Settings’ column, assign the ‘High Performance’ profile
Then locate Darktide within the list of programs, and repeat the above step
Step 4: For Windows 10 Users
Navigate to ‘Settings’ > ‘System’ > ‘Display’
Select ‘Graphics Settings’
Select the ‘Browse’ button and locate the Darktide executable (Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Warhammer 40,000 Darktide\binaries)
Select the ‘Options’ button
Choose ‘High performance’ and save your changes
Step 5: For ASUS Notebook Users
Configure NVIDIA Optimus/AMD Switchable Graphics using the instructions here: ASUS FAQ: GPU Switching Settings
Thanks for reminding of updating drivers, but that still did nothing, launcher don’t work
Could you share your latest darktide_launcher.log with us please, so we can check the status of your GPU now?
Same issue, unfortunately. There appears to be a string of unknown characters in your Windows account username, which could be resulting in some pathing trouble for the GPUDetection.exe used to detect your GPU. Do you have Cyrillic characters in your username?
I do and that actually was problem, so I created new account without Cyrillic characters and now I can log in a game, launcher STILL doesn’t work, but at least bypasser from nexusmods started work. Thanks for your answers!
