Please use the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ option:

  1. Right-click Darktide in your Steam library sidebar
  2. Select ‘Properties’
  3. Select the ‘Local Files’ tab
  4. Select the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ button
  5. When complete, close and reopen Steam

Verifying file integrity did nothing. Increasing worker threads seems to have resolved it so far.

Before the most recent patch i had no issues lowering it below 12 worker threads. Now i have to keep it above 12 (out of 22) just to avoid this particular issue.

Nope. Spoke too soon.

Increasing worker threads makes no difference. It may reduce it but the game will still randomly crash on exit for me.

I downloaded it again and reinstalled the game on a brand new 980 Pro M2 drive last night.

No changes. Same crash on exit nearly every time.

It’s still happening even after the latest update.
