Hi @axemanqc,
I can see that you’re running into a GPU-related crash. Though the exact cause isn’t clear.
I recommend running through all of our GPU crash solutions, here:
Please let me know how this goes.
Tried everything. Still get the crashes
I’m getting video card driver crashes as well as crashes to desktop. I just downgraded to the 24.3.1 Adrenaline drivers for my 7800XT. If that seemingly addresses the issue I’m having, I’ll update.
Played a mission earlier to completion with no crashes. Update later if I run in to any issues.
Never mind; crashed straight to desktop again with the following GUID code
Sorry to hear the crashes are persisting for you both.
@MarkUSN06 from your crash report, I can see the crash is occurring in a module relating to an AMD Graphics Driver. The error in the log has actually provided a suggestion, which is to try using the AMD Cleanup Utility Tool:
Thank you; I ran the AMD Cleanup Utility and reinstalled the latest Adrenaline drivers. I managed to get through a mission, but when I pressed the key to exit out of the victory screen and go back to the Mourningstar, I crashed to desktop and got this one:
I suppose my problems might be due to AMD Fluid Motion Frames; I will try running the game without this feature turned on and will report back.
I’m glad to hear there’s progress in the right direction! The new crash appears to be a different beast (an Access Violation type crash which isn’t referencing AMD drivers this time) which I’ve raised with the development team for investigation.
Please let me know how you get on without AMD Fluid Motion Frames.
Since running the AMD Cleanup Utility and not using any of the HYPR-RX features/settings in the Adrenaline software, I have played ~3 or so missions to completion without a crash.
@MarkUSN06 I’m glad to hear that! I’ll pass this information on internally also to review. Thanks!
