You guys kinda overcomplicate stuff. I never said that Morningstar would suddenly move to Avarax Hive City but let’s say Ordo Xenos sends Rejects to clear rail track for warhead delivery(Ballistic Engine mission in SM2). It could be just a deep hive city zone with no outlook outside, reused assets etc.

Enemies:
Well you turn Dogs into Hormagaunts
ranged Scavs as Termagants
Ragers into Warriors
Gunners / Snipers into Tyranis Warrior with ranged
DemonHost into Neurothrope
Poxbuster can be Spores (just flying little karkers)

Etc etc.

Sure you have to make new models some animations and tweak existing ones.
But It would be doable I think #not a dev.

Still would give DT a massive boost in popularity in my Opinion players from SM2 who never tried DT could hop in.

That is very much not doable.

It’s making a whole cast of enemies, modeling, as well as dismembering system, armour system…

Which do want to say, isn’t impossible.

But doing it just because you want to piggy back on another game then drop it is asinine.

If they make a new faction they could pick Tyr (not really, but for the argument we’ll say they could), but even in that case they really would need so much time that it wouldnt really matter that SM2 used Tyr.

If anything having Tzeentchian cultist would be a much more likely case, but again, if it’ll happen, it’ll be wholly unrelated to SM2
