‘Happy’ would require Fatshark put in a lot more effort in constant and sustained comms and content.

I never thought Hank himself was a play tester, and apparently the entire charlie foxtrot that is Darktide’s balance and lack of patching is the devs themselves since all the playtesters can do is offer feedback, which, fair.

They need to word these things more clearly. Even with corporate talk, it can be done. Inaccurate wordings contributes a great deal to all these misunderstandings.

It is confirmation they are working on it and it has got to the point of play testing which is far down the development time, probably requiring some fine tuning.

That’s how I understood it without Hank’s context. Like the itemization mention was a reassurance it’s still being worked on and there will be more info later and that they hadn’t forgotten. I didn’t get any more than that, but I’ve also seen weirder speculations arise!

At this point better to treat this communication as no news, but news coming. There is no news here. It really is one word. It got people excited on potential but best to set the bar lower - So at least it can overcome your lower expectation otherwise lead to disappointment of when expecting more and it didn’t happen.

No. There is news, they are working on it, but it may or may not be ready for release with the rest of the update.
And seeing as they stated they are doing it in accordence with the mission statement of moving away from randomisation and repetitiveness, this is only a good thing.
People just need to be patient and let FatShark do their thing.

Yea too vague. I imagine someone walking past my office and saying Azure servers are responding slow and people have trouble logging in. Then I reply with one word “Optimisation” then they’ll say “OK” and carry on walking.
I think the most interesting thing is that I’m still out here as a mere Basic, after I was too rude for FS at some point and got a week vacation, but Mr Woke Wars is still out there rocking free! lol
