FS, Get off your Backsides

FS, can you please explain why you made a class, but did not make extra outfits when doing so? One would think it logical that many other outfits would have been viewed and tested for the Arbites, but here we are still with the same junk in the Hollette half-baked horribles since the class introduction.

Is your lack of customization depth that shallow you did not think to make more than just the outfits, or even weapon/helmet/pet skins before you took the class live? FS I really feel your whole marketing team needs a major shake up with most of them being fired along with leadership. I you sensor this post then your true colours will be shown once again.

i mean if thats what you “need” than thats what you need, personally i see 99 problems with the arbites and lacking cosmetics are none of em.

whole parts of talent tree´s not working while the whole class makes a cakewalk out of some content…

Please stay on topic, this thread is not about the skill tree or how the class is with content. Feel free to add comments about that in the other threads in this forum and not this one.

well the topic-related part spelled out would then be “no. the class is fresh enough that a full wardrobe is not needed right now”.
:man_shrugging:
why focus on customization when other stuff is in shambles ?
before you can play “dress-up” you need to be able to play proper in the first place.

cause this superficial stuff should not take priority over things not working correct in game.

and this is me saying sitting on more warhammer figures right now than i even know of

Well tbh it has for all the other classes.

which were added over time.

unless you confuse the commissary with

(i guess you mean hallowette, which would be commodore´s)

yeah the first seems abandoned but honestly a red or blue reskin isnt something worth mentioning.

the later is cycled every 2 weeks / every second thursday (if they dont change the day that week due to an update etc,)

so from release on every 14 days you´ll get another rotation in hallowettes store for you to browse.

look, i got my pair of ogryn underwear that i liked but most collect dust in the wardrobe and none made my gameplay any more “fun”
it´s a nice gimmick which i´d hope would go both ways in forms of figures released so i can have a proper mascot for every look.

but right now, as of today, arbites has a lot to be fixes in vacation-time no less so it´s postponed until august.

come to think, isnt the next rotation today anyways? didn´t check the store for some time now

today: recolors of the snow trooper whatever their name was set (edit: TRUSKANS) , with green elements changed to red. plus the “battle forged” items that are barely different from the standard ones (look at the zealot’s maul) thrown into the mix.

I’ve never known a company that seemed to hate actually making good business decisions as Fatshark. “Make more of the cosmetics available? Naaaah, we’ll FOMO 'em.”

“Make some new faces and hairstyles? Naaaaah.”

Some people will say james workshop. I have no idea about the weight of their involvement

I would say because they are, somehow, lazy and bad at being greedy.

Vestures has had a quality and value for your money problem since long before I came back to the game.

Strike while the iron is hot, money now is better than money later, make the most of an opportunity, make hay while the sun shines, get while the getting is good, etc, etc. are all universal opportunity (business) proverbs.

And yet, FS had only 1 page of items in the pipe to sell during, what they surely had to know would be, their biggest player bump in a year+.

You can’t explain that.

But then you look at the other management “decisions” over the years and maybe you can.

Cosmetics are outsourced to third party studios. Either Fatshark forgot to put in the order or the Arbrites class was finished and released before said studios could put out the cosmetics.

Or no cosmetics and only recolors to avoid any (more) potential bug screw ups while Fatshark is on vacation.

It’s a disgrace that we don’t get penance tier and havoc penance outfits for RBT.

It was, yes. Still nothing new in clothing, the eye implants from the veteran/zealot and such can be purchased and use on the Arbites, which is a start, but FS did state several weeks back that they were adding those to the new class.

Could not agree more CH3DD4R.

This is interesting to say the least, do they do the same for VT/VT2?

I genuinely don’t understand how Fatshark manages to be comically greedy (never updating Commissary, refusing to give out Aquilas via gameplay, overpriced FOMO garbage cosmetics, shrinkflation of said already overpriced cosmetics) and comically bad at getting people’s money (not having Arbite sets ready to go, constantly rotating in recolors rather than new stuff, seemingly finding it impossible to release skins in time with new weapons).

It’s still pretty ironic that people actually want to spend money on skins but we get garbo rotations and zero additions for the new class. They are literally shooting themslevs in the leg, financially speaking.
You do have a point tho, no argument there.

I mean, I agree with the conclusion but I don’t feel that heated about it.

They should have the same cosmetic options from the penance rewards and commissar for sure. Is that coming? I have no idea. Would be great to get a comm on that if we should expect anything or not. I agree it does feel like the child left out, which feels weird for a premium class.

I just don’t feel as animated about it.

Also, with the new class the new maximum is 6545 penance points. When are we going to expand the penance track in general? :stuck_out_tongue:

Best I can decipher (since that’s what we get with FS comms, a cryptography game), is not to expect more than what we have:

Any mentions I saw of cosmetics on the penance track for Arbites are questions or other people assuming it’s not happening.

Really missing strawhat more than I thought I would.

TBH, I feel FS never looked that far into the future. The Arbiter is the first new addition character right? So maybe their thought into the penance track was just as short sighted as the total cosmetic system. :frowning:
