My friend is having issues playing Darktide currently, with sometimes several crashes to desktop every mission.
It started right after From the Depths update.
He uses no mods or whatever such things. It doesn’t matter what graphics setting he has put the game on.
He gave me this error code to share here;

is he using a nvidia gpu ? chances are one needs to ddu the drivers again
check the windows event viewer for the dreaded nvlddmkm.sys crash
hadn´t had that for a couple weeks now, despite “engine error” being more prominent but at least it doesnt pop an event and is 100% game related, with the nvlshit you never know.
but darktide being the literally only game that does that on my rig every now and then and every major component was either checked, clean drivers installed or switched with brand new hardware, i rule out any faults on my rigs part by now.
temperature can be a thing with said nvl crash but again, my cpu has a brand new water cooling keeping it under 60°, same with gpu temps around 55°
mine are nvidias second latest and i still got the device hung error with triggers a nvlddmkm.sys crash in the event viewer after countless ddu and a new 5080rtx
im always crossing my fingers as to not jinx it when i had peace for 3-4 weeks then it crashes again with the drivers at the time and the process begins anew
whats new though with recent drivers is it aint only event id 153 anymore but accompanied by event id 13 in tandem since the 600.series drivers
He updated his drivers and verified his files on Steam for good measure. He didn’t crash during the test mission he ran after it, only had a few moments of intense stuttering.
Better than crashing but it still makes no sense why he’s suddenly having issues after an update.
