Frequent error 2014/3013 on PC, can't make any progress

Issue Description (Required):

I am getting frequent 2014 disconnects, which are ALWAYS followed by error 3013 whenever attempting to rejoin the game. I cannot rejoin my game due to the same 3013 error over and over after being disconnected by a 2014 error. The only options available to me are to leave the mission and go back to the lobby (no progress/rewards) or to force the game to close (ALT-F4) and restart it entirely in order to HOPEFULLY reconnect my session. Unfortunately, due to the excessive time spent waiting for this game to spin up and the propensity of this error to kick me out at the end of a game, I more often lose out on any and all rewards/progress because the mission ends before I am able to get back to my operative selection screen. When I AM able to, I am offered the chance to reconnect and I am always able to AFTER a game restart.

I have only recently started playing this game, but the 2014/3013 disconnect/unable to reconnect problem has plagued me from the very start and seems to be getting worse. This is beyond infuriating and is preventing us from enjoying the game as we end up wasting tons of time and effort on missions that result in ZERO progress.

Some notes on my setup/scenario:

  • I have 2 PCs and an Xbox series X on the same network all behind the same modem.
  • My PC and the xbox are hardwired to the modem. The other PC is connected via WIFI.
  • PC players are on Steam, Xbox player is, obviously, on xbox. My Steam username is ‘.TheSev.’
  • I have Comcast as an ISP in the northeastern US, with near-Gb speeds.
  • We have ALL gotten the d/c error multiple times, but never at the SAME time. I’ll disconnect while the players on the other PC and Xbox continue on. Other times the Xbox player will D/C with this error while the PC players are untouched. So on and so forth
  • This is the ONLY online game we have any connectivity issues with in any capacity

I have only recently started utilizing a mod that allows me to bypass the launcher simply to cut down on the excessive waiting/loading time, as it already takes minutes just to get the launcher to pop up, and just as long to get the game to start. This is in response to the already existing problem, and not a cause.

I have attempted the solutions given in the “try this” thread. They have not fixed or improved the situation even a little.

Sorry to hear this. This is a particularly unconventional case as you have multiple systems on the same network that all play Darktide, under the same network.

This is an error we’re very much aware of, but there may be some network-level solutions that could help you out here:
