Floating damage numbers and hp bars

Is there an option to turn them off?

I agree, the hud breaks the immersion big time, the less blipty blops on the screen the better.

Agreed. I do not like health bars or numbers bubbles. It distracts from the immersion and in my opinion immersion is this type of games strongest hand to play. I’d hate to distract from its strength.

I’ve seen preview without them. I don’t know how much of the hud is taken down with them but I would suppose that you can do so.

dont take it as confirmed, but i heard that the damage numbers are closely tied to tagging enemies

(perhaps a specific ability of one of the classes)

imo floating dmg numbers, health bars and debuff icons with stack numbers on selected enemy types is a must have in this kind of games, for example when trying new weapons or skills or as a player preference. of course its also a must to have those selectable seperately in interface options.
