fire away’s burn stacks don’t do much damage and enemies always die to the explosion damage way before the fire damage can start to add up
For clarification, what difficulty are you running?
I had assumed Fire Away would be more beneficial in high-density, high-health engagements. But I can’t confirm my suspicions personally.
this is on damnation the burn stack start at 2 damage per second and by the time i kill an enemy while spamming explosions i can get it to do 11 damage per second against a crusher
Yeah, I would hope it’d have more impact at Damnation and above. Do you run Hi Int? (Emperor, this game has too many modes)
I saw another individual bring up that Fire Away works on the Bomb Box and makes it do actual damage, I feel that’s honestly it’s main used case. As I’ve come to the same conclusion otherwise, my rumbler build that’s been ohh so fun just nukes everything in 1-2 nades regardless, so I rarely got to see the burn do anything that another nade didn’t just clean up. I assume the same for the Gauntlet given it was already doing pretty well against most targets, so it seems very much like a ‘flavor’ talent. That, or perhaps it functions well against Pus hardened Skin shrugs.
