Feeling absloute miserable doin havoc

everytime i play havoc the game will throw absloute hell to the team to make my experince even worse and i find rotting armor the most miserable modifier in the game eveytime i get hit by a bullwalk or mauler charger attack on the worst moment possbile i have max full wound as martyerdom zelaot i will be sent to 1hp while getting surrounded by 6 to 10 crushers and unable to even escape even i use my chorus and i will accept my fate and get killed in a instant and i find the AI getting realy extremely aggressive when leaving spawn and sending a half a million worth of elites damage and getting crushed without bein able leaving early stages of the mission and i start to feel realy mixed about darktide and not sure that i wanna gonna continue this nightmare

My advice: don’t play havoc.

Mid-to-High Havocs are unbearable for 99% of the playerbase.

It wasn’t made for you, or me, or most people. Just pretend it’s not there.

true and the most insufferable modifiers of havoc make alot of players not even wanting to play it

It’s a game mode made for people who like suffering. The biggest problem with Havoc for me is that it mostly ruined Auric for many of us.

I wouldn’t personally bother with 30+ Havoc outside of pre-mades, especially with the current modifiers. Unless you found a good team who knows how to build to counter modifiers (yes, builds matter the most, don’t listen to “if you have da skillz you can beat havoc easily” copelords).

So yeah, find a premade who is willing to grind through the crap Havoc throws at you or suffer.

If you’re using book on rotten armour your only legit option is taking something that deals with Carapace easily, otherwise you’re doomed

Havoc was fine if a bit easy before Bound By Duty. It’s very hard to create a truly unwinnable scenario in Tide games that you can’t brute force with pure skill, but this Havoc has all of the most terrible modifiers possible. Oops, it randomly spawned enough armored dudes to disable your WASD keys and you can’t kill any of them because one of them is purple. Oops, all of the enemies you were about to kill randomly rolled blue stimm.

It’s still perfectly winnable but it is tedious as hell because they decided the best way to combat the current player power is to randomly make the enemies unkillable. It ain’t fun.

Yup, two weeks ago demoted from 38 to 16. Now i am 36, with experience it gets easier, you get used to kite them for minutes, control crowd, etc, but sometimes it’s not enough.

Like yesterday i was downed and 2 others got killed by stealth crusher in one hit, no one, not one of us heard him.

Also don’t be stubborn like me, i think 10 if not more rank losses came from same mission, i should’ve quit. I think i felt like gamblers feel, thought i will return lost ranks with win.

But it’s a game mod with modifiers you don’t see in other game modes, it’s something new and also i love enemy density, it truly feels like a horde, i wish i got this in aurics without crap like cut ammo, health, toughness, bigger damage and modifiers like stimms with immortal enemies with rotten armor on top.

yeah i saw a ranting video of mister E Complaining about rot armor and the realy agresssive ai sending like 7 to 10 maulers and crushers upon you for no reason and i understand his ranting about rot armor helll and realy agressive ai and i had like twins spawnig in the start area before the point of no return on a few maps while a spawn and beast and a wave of crushers flamers and maulers also came right after in a realy small thight walkway with no room to dodge in the attack we were sitting ducks waiting to be killed in seconds we had zero chance to fight against that

it being unfair is the whole deal, if it wasn’t it would have no sense having it in the game in the first place

normal damnation should be unfair aswell if you ask me, its sensless that it’s not

game should be balanced around Malice, the ‘‘normal’’ difficulty, but the community have stir away my wish

Fatshark, instead of creating new harder enemies, or interesting ones, they just throw at your face more and more of the same.

Yea, darktide has become a 10 footpole…Ill maybe play it when my friends are on.. Plus I’m doing what the devs want, they dont want to see us play unless they drop content.

Why are you playing it? Asking as someone who loves havoc, but there doesn’t seem to be any reason to play it over the other difficulties unless you enjoy it.

basically to shut up the naggers that deem any opinion or critique from someone not having the 40 tag noobish and irrelevant.

ironically most of the early dropouts in an auric maelstrom match, once no one’s babysitting each others ass, flash that shiny stuff :man_shrugging:

usually every season I jump into the 40s, randoms only, no comms, stick to the build that suits my playstyle and oddly enough the last 3 attempts now were a hole-in-one.

after having the mandatory eartag for the next 3 months, I’m back to clutching and carrying auric maelstroms cause I prefer an independent gameplay over a talent/loadout corset.

I agree. It’s weird that damnation is my go to if I just want to play some chill rounds.

It was made for the Try Hardest… These are specific challenges at the highest levels of play and forcing specific builds / classes… its precisely to make sure only the best can complete if at all…

the real solution is removing modifiers and just changing all pacing to be dutch/linesman, could go for gold and do spicy they really wanted h40 to be top tier only

Yeah, it was really made for absolute sweat-lords like me that are unbelievable try-hards with absolutely no lives. I actually want it to go past Havoc-40 if you can believe it. It’s to fulfill my masochist fantasy to goon as much as humanly possible to the thought of even harder content. It gets me excited.

I like the misery…
