[Feature request] Add some filters to the Quickplay function

I find 99% of my games using this function, and generally it works just fine for me. But there are types of missions I’m absolutely not gonna play, either never or depending on my mood. Like the ones in pitch dark (who even though it will be a good idea?? at least give players some decent sources of light in those which don’t rely on the type of weapon they use..), or the train mission and the twins mission on certain difficulties (have high chance of turning into disaster depending on team you get already starting Heresy difficulty, so only play them when I don’t mind challenge), or current event which isn’t that bad, but I’ve just had enough of fire everywhere and don’t want to play them for now.

All of those should be allowed to be excluded when using Quickplay button (so checkboxes to exclude it for every such type of mission, in some Advanced Settings menu below). Otherwise I just join the mission, see what I got, and leave instantly - what is a PIA for me, and probably not that fun for the people in there too.

I agree it would be 100% better to let people opt out of certain things instead of them loading in then leaving immediately, giving me false hope (I also get tired of randomly joining into Hi Intensity Shock Troops 3 times in a row)

I would personally be fine if this meant forfeiting the resource bonus, if you’ve played to the point that you’re tired of specific things, you hopefully don’t need them? Maybe? I just don’t want to manually check each node to see if someone’s playing at a certain difficulty

If you don’t want to join random missions, then don’t use quickplay.

While I don’t share their specific desire, there is a middle ground here, I think.
I might not use quickplay as much as I currently do if, by choosing a specific mission, you weren’t also forced into a quickplay search for it. I just use it as the current best option to get me into a game as quick as possible (which sometimes takes forever and doesn’t show you the error codes until you cancel matchmaking).

Of course I get why, but I’d much prefer an instant lobby creation and the option to immediately start when I choose a specific mission. That ends up happening often enough anyway, just wish the stupid long wait to get there was removed.

Just a granular player-friendly control option that FS is evidently not great at.

Maybe in the past you could argue player-base split concerns, but they’ve shown that doesn’t seem too priority for them with Havoc and Mortis additions.

I will keep using Quickplay because it’s convenient - but I will keep leaving missions I don’t like. How insisting on keeping this undercooked current feature is helpful both to me and people who have to deal with people like me in their missions?

Doesn’t sound very convenient to me, but you do you.

You almost made spit my coffee.

I think Quickplay works how it should work.

Give thanks that you can choose your char… not like in Vermintide 2.
